Camp Good News

Camp Good News is our once-a-year opportunity to bring together a huge group of kids to learn the gospel, make friends, and grow in faith; all in a setting that helps make lifelong memories.

Camp Good News is a great place for kids (ages 8 to 13) to get to know Christ, have fun, make new friends, and grow in their faith. Our camp environment invites campers to enjoy the beautiful North Dakotan outdoors through activities like canoeing, swimming, and sports.

It’s also a place where a relationship with Christ can develop and bloom in a safe place: Bible classes, chapel sessions, and good conversations with others. Life skills like discipline and teamwork are honed through cooperative team activities as well as practical skills classes.

At camp, we strive to provide the most age-specific programming possible. Our campers will be placed in cabins and on teams based on the following age groupings: 8-10 & 11-13.

  • Transporting kids to and/or from camp
  • Kitchen staff
  • Skills teacher (arts & crafts, canoeing, BB guns, etc)
  • Camp “grandparent”
  • Bible teacher
  • “Mini-campers” leader (daily childcare for staff and volunteer kids under age 8)
